More sharing and presentations this week: KS3 students at Yateley will be sharing their work at an informal lunchtime concert, and students at The Clere will be presenting in workshop style the outcomes of their explorations.
Congratulations go to students at Mill Chase who performed their songs at the school's awards evening last week; and to students at Amery Hill who presented to parents and friends after school.
Looking ahead, students and teachers may be interested in a professional event with creative, Olympic connections: as part of the PRS 20x12 commissions, there will be a new piece by David Bruce performed in Salisbury on Friday, May 25 at 9.30 in the cathedral close. Saturday 26 May Fire: World Première, is a newly commissioned piece performed by fire artists, an ensemble of horns and Salisbury Community Choir. We are now moving towards the end of the project, and beginning to hear the outcomes of the creative processes that have been explored.
Two such events this week: students at Mill Chase school are performing some of their songs at the school's Awards evening; and students from Amery Hill will be sharing the work from their sessions at a special presentation.
We hope to be able to capture some of these performances, so look at for the recordings . . .
