Get a free gig workshop in your School! NUMU has teamed up with some great new up and coming bands. They're offering to put on a gig at your school and do a Q&A session with students about how to get ahead in the music business.
Want to show your class what life is really like in touring band? Currently we are looking for schools in the following areas –
Devon – 2nd , 3rd and 13th June Swindon – 10-12th June Coventry – July 7th Doncaster – July 10th
…but if you would like to arrange a gig for your school then get in touch. This is a great opportunity for end of year events so let us know straight away if you are interested – info@numu.org.uk with “Band Q&A” in the subject line.
Musical Futures – It's in your hands To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Musical Futures are staging a celebration event on 30 th June at the London South Bank Centre. The day will feature a special NUMU presentation on Online Collaboration - how NUMU artists and schools are working together. The student's eye view will also be represented thanks to a gang of Radiowaves Reporters, providing interviews, reviews and all the back stage gossip from the live stage.

London International Music Show - 13 th June Education Day Free for schools and students, you can register now to attend a key note speech by Sir Ken Robinson. The NUMU online hub will be there with various NUMU stars performing live. The Radiowaves Reporters will be getting exclusive interviews with all the presenters, speakers and performers. This event will also see the preview of Teaching Music - find out more about this exciting new online community exclusively for music educators.

New Networks A warm welcome to our new NUMU Networks – Greenwich in South London and Wall2Wall in Derry , Northern Ireland . Wall2Wall will be in Derry schools, extended services and community music groups, and Greenwich Music Service will be meeting the Music Manifesto recommendations with a NUMU hub.
